Please note: All attendees must be prepared to present a current state-issued ID in order to be granted entry into the buildings where both the meetings and tours will take place.

9:30 – 9:55 a.m.
  • Greetings and Refreshments (AGO Library, 15th Floor)
10:00 – 10:30 a.m.
  • Welcome from Mary Mertz, 1st Assistant Attorney General (17th Floor)
  • View AGO history exhibit
10:30 – 11:00 a.m.
  • Excursion to the Ohio Statehouse to view the government documents display
11:00 – 12:00 p.m.
  • Excursion to the Ohio Supreme Court to tour the OSC Education Center
  • Meet with Diane Mercer, Reference Librarian at the OSC Library
12:15 – 1:00 p.m.
  • Lunch, provided by Ohio GODORT [order form available May 5, due May 14] (AGO Library)
1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
  • Business Meeting (AGO Library)

Because we will be walking to the Statehouse and the Supreme Court, you may wish to wear comfortable walking shoes.

Members please note: Membership renewal takes place at the spring meeting. An annual membership is $20. For additional meeting information contact Shari Laster (laster@uakron.edu).

Directions

The Office of the Ohio Attorney General is located at 30 E. Broad Street, 15th Floor, in Columbus, across the street from the Ohio Statehouse. Plan additional time to look for nearby parking, which will typically cost $6-$12 for a full day.
