This year’s Fall GODORT of Ohio meeting will be on Friday, November 9th at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Usually the morning portion of our meetings consists of a presentation.  This Fall for the first time in several years we are opening up the program portion of the meeting to GODORT of Ohio members.  This is your opportunity to present research, papers, posters, projects, calls for volunteers, or other material related to Government Information in Ohio and the United States.

If you would like to make a presentation please email Jeffrey Hartsell-Gundy (gundyj@muohio.edu) with your topic and how long you need to present it.

SaraJean Petite of Case Western Reserve University School of Law has written a blog entry, Budget Cuts Affecting the American Community Survey.

The American Association of Law Libraries has started an advocacy page, “Help Save the American Community Survey” with instructions on action people can take to influence their senators.
