Parking Information
There are a couple of parking areas that should be open (Both spots are especially set aside for visitor parking.) and available for Ohio GODORT folks to park.
These directions assume meeting attendees have reached the historic village of Granville, and the directions simply tell how to find visitor parking areas.
At the intersection of Main Street and Broadway, turn North. Proceed one block on brick-surfaced road before stopping at Stop sign. University entrance directly in front. Proceed on uphill road that veers toward left. (Skinny uphill road is two-way road. Proceed carefully.)
SWASEY CHAPEL PARKING:
At top of hill, turn right to reach Swasey Chapel visitor’s parking. After passing under underpass, road deadends. Turn right. The Swasey Chapel parking lot is located at second turn-in, which will be to the East of the Chapel.
ALTERNATIVE PARKING AREA:
At top of hill, turn right to reach an alternative parking area. After passing under underpass, road deadends. Turn left. Park in spaces behind buildings.
LIBRARY LOCATION:
Library is located at the western end of the hill. After proceeding on entrance road/uphill road that veers toward left, yield on left turn. Turn left to reach the Library. The Library is the third building on the right (You will see Library building’s loading dock.). Parking spaces near the Library will probably be full.
