GODORT of Ohio is pleased to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the University of Cincinnati’s designation as a Federal Depository Library! We will have our business meeting in the morning and a special anniversary address by Judith Russell, Superintendent of Documents, in the afternoon. (Please note that we will be meeting in the Alumni Center, NOT the Langsam Library as originally planned.)

One of the agenda items for the Fall meeting will be the proposed revisions to the Constitution. These revisions have been made to reflect the gradual changes in our group’s operating procedures. The ad hoc Constitution Revision Committee (Carol Singer, convener; Mark Gooch, Jennifer McMullen) have included comments about the proposed changes in the draft. Please review these proposed changes before the Fall meeting
so that we can vote on them.

Directions
Directions to West Campus, where the Langsam Library and the Alumni Center are located, are available online for people coming from all directions. A more detailed view of the Alumni Center’s location can be found on the campus map (upper part of map, below Campus Green Drive Garage).
Thursday Night Gathering
Lorna has made reservations at Tink’s in Clifton, about a 5-minute drive from campus and the hotel. Although the restaurant does not have a web site, you can read an online review. Please RSVP to Lorna at lorna.newman@uc.edu by November 1, 2004, if you plan to arrive in time for dinner.
Dining and Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Kingsgate Conference Hotel (about 5-6 blocks from campus) until October 14, 2004. At that time the unreserved rooms will be released.
Reservations can be made by calling 888-720-1299 and mentioning Ohio GODORT meeting. The room rate is $115 (single and double) plus 10.5% Occupancy Tax and 7.0% State and Local taxes.
Parking is available in a covered parking garage underneath the facility, which is operated by the University of Cincinnati. Current overnight parking is $12 per car, per night with in and out privileges.
