Ohio GODORT Fall 2000 Meeting

The Fall 2000 Ohio GODORT meeting will be held at the Dayton & Montgomery County Public Library in downtown Dayton, Ohio.
The theme of the program will be GIS, Geographic Information Systems. Guest speakers will be John Millard, the Geographic Information Systems Librarian at Miami University King Library, and Stu Davis, the executive director of OGRIP, the Ohio Geographically Referenced Information Program. John will be discussing the OhioView consortium’s efforts to provide access to civilian satellite data, and Stu will be presenting a program describing the goals and activities of OGRIP throughout the state.

Parking Downtown
There is no library parking lot. The most convenient parking is a pay lot across the street. There are also day-long parking meters in the immediate area.
Hotel Accomodations

North of downtown & close to the I-70 I-75 interchange, there is a row of hotels. Two of the cheaper ones are the Red Roof Inn and the Fairfield Inn.
